Skagit Designs - Pri Spoon - the Spotter with a Rolling Action
The Skagit Designs - Pri Spoon is a very versatile spoon. Its great strength is its rolling action. But what exactly does that mean?
The movement of the Skagit Designs - Pri Spoon is a combination of rolling and motion, and that's precisely what attracts the fish. When reeled in, it rotates around its own axis, moving from left to right. For example, it starts rolling to the right, and once it reaches an angle of about 60 degrees, it automatically changes direction and rolls to the left until it again reaches an angle of 60 degrees. Then it changes again.
Unbelievable, right?
But that's exactly how it's designed. This means your line won't twist either, as it untwists itself. So you don't need a triple swivel or anything similar.
It is therefore very well suited as a lure for the beginning of a fishing day to find out at what depth the fish are located and whether they are actively hunting.
This unique movement behavior makes it an absolute game-changer in difficult situations.
In other words, it shouldn't be missing from any spoon tackle box.
Additionally, the Skagit Design - Pri Spoon heavily relies on light reflections, which is why the color scheme consciously uses gold and silver tones and so-called abalone foils. These create diffuse light reflections underwater. This additional attraction through flashing and turbulence is also easily perceptible to our beloved salmonids from a distance.
For finding the right spoon color, there are (here) a few basic rules.
