The Stroft FC 2 has a similarly high linear breaking strength as the Stroft FC 1. However, its knot strength is slightly lower. In addition to being used as an affordable leader material, the Stroft FC 2 is ideally suited when abrasion resistance, sinking behavior, sensitivity, feedback, strike elongation, durability, and visibility/invisibility are of paramount importance for the mainline as well.
All common lines and line diameters from Stroft are available for order upon request, including bulk spools.

4 simple steps to the right choice!
Perfectly identifying the target fish
Consider what types of fish you want to catch (e.g., trout, bass, pike-perch, sea trout, ...).
Choosing a Fishing Rod and Reel
Choose length and strength appropriate to the target fish and fishing method (e.g. UL rod for spoons (active fishing), bottom rod for stationary fishing (passive fishing)).
Adjust Fishing Line and Lure
Use fine braided lines for UL applications or monofilament lines for all-around use. Make sure to use the right lures for the target fish.
Properly add accessories
Think of a suitable landing net, helpful tools (e.g. knife, fish persuader, hook remover,...), clear bait boxes and a functional tackle box to be optimally prepared.
