The STROFT FC 1 probably has the highest breaking strength ever achieved with lines made of 100% fluorocarbon. Special attention is paid to tuning the knot breaking strengths, which are individually trimmed to optimum values for each diameter. Due to this very important characteristic and the other advantageous properties of STROFT fluorocarbon, such as abrasion resistance, sinking behavior, fine load elongation, strike elongation, casting behavior (fly leader tip), durability, and visibility/invisibility, STROFT FC 1 is ideal for all types of leaders.
All common lines and line diameters from Stroft are available to order upon request, including bulk spools.

4 simple steps to the right choice!
Perfectly identifying the target fish
Consider what types of fish you want to catch (e.g., trout, bass, pike-perch, sea trout, ...).
Choosing a Fishing Rod and Reel
Choose length and strength appropriate to the target fish and fishing method (e.g. UL rod for spoons (active fishing), bottom rod for stationary fishing (passive fishing)).
Adjust Fishing Line and Lure
Use fine braided lines for UL applications or monofilament lines for all-around use. Make sure to use the right lures for the target fish.
Properly add accessories
Think of a suitable landing net, helpful tools (e.g. knife, fish persuader, hook remover,...), clear bait boxes and a functional tackle box to be optimally prepared.
