Smith - Tuning Sinkers
When weight matters!!!
The Smith Tuning Sinkers are small, self-adhesive lead weights (mostly made of lead or tungsten) that are attached directly to artificial lures such as wobblers to precisely influence their swimming and sinking behavior.
Important characteristics:

Self-adhesive: Easy to apply with an adhesive surface directly on the wobbler - no tools required.

Fine-tuning: Allows adjustment of diving depth, balance, and sinking behavior of the lure to different fishing conditions.

Various sizes/weights: Typical diameters are, for example, 4 mm (0.06 g), 5 mm (0.09 g), 6 mm (0.12 g), and 7 mm (0.17 g). This allows the weight to be precisely matched to the requirements.

Mounting position: Depending on where the plate is attached (head, belly, or lip of the wobbler), the lure's action changes specifically.

Material: Often made of Japanese lead or tungsten, for high precision and low volume.
Such tuning sinkers are particularly helpful when the hook weight needs to be adjusted or when changing current and wind conditions quickly require a different lure presentation.

Perfectly identifying the target fish
Consider what types of fish you want to catch (e.g., trout, bass, pike-perch, sea trout, ...).
Choosing a Fishing Rod and Reel
Choose length and strength appropriate to the target fish and fishing method (e.g. UL rod for spoons (active fishing), bottom rod for stationary fishing (passive fishing)).
Adjust Fishing Line and Lure
Use fine braided lines for UL applications or monofilament lines for all-around use. Make sure to use the right lures for the target fish.
Properly add accessories
Think of a suitable landing net, helpful tools (e.g. knife, fish persuader, hook remover,...), clear bait boxes and a functional tackle box to be optimally prepared.
