The EXLT Black Spool 2 combines exceptional technology with deep black aesthetics. Its simple and refined design stands out in any environment.
- ATD TYPE-L: New generation drag system, further improves the initial drag start-up and thus ensures high durability.
The goal is for the angler to be able to concentrate on fighting the fish without having to worry about the drag settings.
- ATD TOUGH (5000S,D): the large spools are additionally equipped with carbon drag washers. This also ensures a smooth start and excellent follow-up performance.

- LC-ABS (Long Cast ABS): the concept of the conventional ABSII spool for reducing contact resistance is retained, while a smoother line release is achieved by shifting the contact point forward. The forward-protruding ring makes it more difficult for the line to wrap around the ring, leading to fewer line tangles. Furthermore, it improves casting distance by approx. 5% and ensures smoother performance compared to the conventional ABSII spool.
This next-generation ABS spool realizes LC (= Long Cast).

Perfectly identifying the target fish
Consider what types of fish you want to catch (e.g., trout, bass, pike-perch, sea trout, ...).
Choosing a Fishing Rod and Reel
Choose length and strength appropriate to the target fish and fishing method (e.g. UL rod for spoons (active fishing), bottom rod for stationary fishing (passive fishing)).
Adjust Fishing Line and Lure
Use fine braided lines for UL applications or monofilament lines for all-around use. Make sure to use the right lures for the target fish.
Properly add accessories
Think of a suitable landing net, helpful tools (e.g. knife, fish persuader, hook remover,...), clear bait boxes and a functional tackle box to be optimally prepared.
