POPLA-POPPER "Original by Viktor Omelchenko"
The POPLA-POPPER "Original by Viktor Omelchenko" is ideal for presenting rubber or natural baits when trout fishing. Unlike traditional poppers, it does not serve as the actual bait, but rather as a casting weight, attractant, and bite indicator all in one. The assembly and retrieve technique are quite simple: a leader of about 20cm to 100cm with the desired bait is attached to the POPLA-POPPER. The leader length determines the depth at which you want to fish. After casting, allow the bait to sink to the length of the leader, which can take 10 to 30 seconds. If no bite occurs during this time, briefly twitch the popper. Due to the special shape of the front part, this creates a sound that draws the fish's attention to the bait. After the bait has sunk again, the retrieve method is repeated. This allows the water to be fished ultra-slowly until a bite occurs. The POPLA-POPPER, tapering to a point at the end, offers little resistance when a fish bites, so the fish confidently takes the bait. Perfect for fishing for rather passive fish.

Perfectly identifying the target fish
Consider what types of fish you want to catch (e.g., trout, bass, pike-perch, sea trout, ...).
Choosing a Fishing Rod and Reel
Choose length and strength appropriate to the target fish and fishing method (e.g. UL rod for spoons (active fishing), bottom rod for stationary fishing (passive fishing)).
Adjust Fishing Line and Lure
Use fine braided lines for UL applications or monofilament lines for all-around use. Make sure to use the right lures for the target fish.
