The Overlip Crankbait “Shachi” combines the appeal of a crankbait with the flexibility of a spoon – a unique concept executed with the highest precision by renowned lure designer MAX Tanaka.
Thanks to its sinking design, the Shachi covers a wide range of depths – from near the bottom to just below the surface. This allows it to be fished like a spoon at various depths, making it a versatile tool for a variety of conditions.

4 simple steps to the right choice!
Perfectly identifying the target fish
Consider what types of fish you want to catch (e.g., trout, bass, pike-perch, sea trout, ...).
Choosing a Fishing Rod and Reel
Choose length and strength appropriate to the target fish and fishing method (e.g. UL rod for spoons (active fishing), bottom rod for stationary fishing (passive fishing)).
Adjust Fishing Line and Lure
Use fine braided lines for UL applications or monofilament lines for all-around use. Make sure to use the right lures for the target fish.
Properly add accessories
Think of a suitable landing net, helpful tools (e.g. knife, fish persuader, hook remover,...), clear bait boxes and a functional tackle box to be optimally prepared.
