MegaBass - Dr. Choro - Small but MIGHTY!!!
The MegaBass - Dr. Choro is one of the smallest soft plastic lures that can be actively fished.
Due to its oval cross-section, the MegaBass - Dr. Choro can be rigged on the hook in 2 different ways. This allows you to use the lure in 2 variants. You are thus flexible in the use of this lure. Such a thing has not yet existed in the trout fishing sector.
Thanks to the oval shape, you have the option of rigging the lure crosswise or lengthwise on your hook.
- Variant: If the lure is rigged crosswise on the hook, the surface (that cuts through the water) of the lure is increased. This reduces the lure's sinking speed and creates more pressure underwater. With this variant, you can entice inactive fish and still get them to bite, as the lure remains in their field of vision for longer. Furthermore, with this variant, you can more effectively fish the upper water layers.
- Variant: If the lure is rigged lengthwise on the hook, the surface (that cuts through the water) of the lure is reduced. This increases the lure's sinking speed and creates less pressure underwater. With this variant, you can entice more active fish and get them to bite, as the lure can be retrieved faster and more actively. Furthermore, with this variant, you can more effectively fish the middle to deep water layers.
Originally, the MegaBass - Dr. Choro was developed for fine rockfishing for small predators such as horse mackerel and the like. But what works in saltwater for small predators also brings good success in the beloved hunt for our salmonids.

Choosing the Right Equipment
4 simple steps to the right choice!
Perfectly identifying the target fish
Consider what types of fish you want to catch (e.g., trout, bass, pike-perch, sea trout, ...).
Choosing a Fishing Rod and Reel
Choose length and strength appropriate to the target fish and fishing method (e.g. UL rod for spoons (active fishing), bottom rod for stationary fishing (passive fishing)).
Adjust Fishing Line and Lure
Use fine braided lines for UL applications or monofilament lines for all-around use. Make sure to use the right lures for the target fish.
Properly add accessories
Think of a suitable landing net, helpful tools (e.g. knife, fish persuader, hook remover,...), clear bait boxes and a functional tackle box to be optimally prepared.
