The Gurza – Trout J1 BL is an ultra-sharp hook made from Belgian high-carbon steel.
BL = Barbless. Due to this characteristic, it is ideal for fishing with soft baits. Furthermore, the hook has a large hook bend and slightly longer shank, making it perfectly suited for fishing with small soft baits. The hook can be fitted with tungsten or fished solo. Despite its rather thin wire gauge, it is very durable. It also features a triangular point and a high-quality boron nitride protective coating.
The following sizes are used here: #8 = up to 50mm soft baits, #6 = 50-60mm soft baits, #4 = 65-70mm soft baits and #2 = 70-80mm soft baits

Perfectly identifying the target fish
Consider what types of fish you want to catch (e.g., trout, bass, pike-perch, sea trout, ...).
Choosing a Fishing Rod and Reel
Choose length and strength appropriate to the target fish and fishing method (e.g. UL rod for spoons (active fishing), bottom rod for stationary fishing (passive fishing)).
Adjust Fishing Line and Lure
Use fine braided lines for UL applications or monofilament lines for all-around use. Make sure to use the right lures for the target fish.
Properly add accessories
Think of a suitable landing net, helpful tools (e.g. knife, fish persuader, hook remover,...), clear bait boxes and a functional tackle box to be optimally prepared.
