Favorite Totem Spinning TTM1-682SUL - HS 0.8-4g (Hard Solid)
The new Totem Spinning rod series from Favorite are perfectly suited for modern predatory fish angling.
The series includes 2 models that are interesting for us trout anglers.
They clearly play out their advantages in classic Put-and-Take lakes or gentle ultralight fishing on small rivers without strong currents.
The Favorite Totem rod series is characterized by its first-class components, for example, a Toray T1100G blank is installed, which is usually only found in very high-priced rod series.
These blanks are particularly thin and delicate yet powerful. The UL models have a very fast action, which makes you feel even closer to the fish when it bites.
Another advantage is that with these fast blanks you can cast further and more accurately. This also helps you in the hunt for your dream trout.
Another special feature is the integrated Hard Solid Tip. This ensures that your power transfer during the cast is perfectly transmitted to the lure. During the fight, however, enough reserves are released to absorb headshakes from larger trout.
The Favorite Totem rods are also designed for using thin braided lines, which is extremely advantageous for the UL fishing we know. But the rods also handle nylon lines very well, for example in winter.
The rods are suitable not only for commercial trout ponds, but also for fishing in small streams for chub, trout, ide or perch with wobblers, spoons and spinners.

Perfectly identifying the target fish
Consider what types of fish you want to catch (e.g., trout, bass, pike-perch, sea trout, ...).
Choosing a Fishing Rod and Reel
Choose length and strength appropriate to the target fish and fishing method (e.g. UL rod for spoons (active fishing), bottom rod for stationary fishing (passive fishing)).
Adjust Fishing Line and Lure
Use fine braided lines for UL applications or monofilament lines for all-around use. Make sure to use the right lures for the target fish.
Properly add accessories
Think of a suitable landing net, helpful tools (e.g. knife, fish persuader, hook remover,...), clear bait boxes and a functional tackle box to be optimally prepared.
