Fangenswert by Erwin Meiris - Fago 40S
The FAGO 40S is the brand new wobbler from FANGENSWERT, a German company specializing in the distribution of high-quality fishing tackle. FAGO is primarily designed for extremely passive trout in difficult conditions, such as midday, high summer, heavily fished waters, etc., and shows remarkable success even when other lures are ineffective. For its length of 40 mm and its weight of 2.4 g, the FAGO can be cast quite far, which is always extremely important when trout fishing or UL fishing: sometimes centimeters decide whether you can reach the trout. The FAGO is a sinking wobbler, as indicated by the letter S in its name, and can be fished at a depth of up to approx. 2.5 meters. It develops its best action with a slow to very slow constant retrieve: FAGO wriggles very enticingly through the water and provokes even the most passive trout into an often very aggressive bite. Light twitches and pauses can alternatively expand the retrieve to outsmart particularly selective salmonids.
The FAGO 40S is equipped with two high-quality Japanese barbed hooks from DECOY and is available in our shop in ten exclusive EA colors, characterized by their UV-glow elements. Choosing the Right Equipment
4 simple steps to the right choice!
Perfectly identifying the target fish
Consider what types of fish you want to catch (e.g., trout, bass, pike-perch, sea trout, ...).
Choosing a Fishing Rod and Reel
Choose length and strength appropriate to the target fish and fishing method (e.g. UL rod for spoons (active fishing), bottom rod for stationary fishing (passive fishing)).
Adjust Fishing Line and Lure
Use fine braided lines for UL applications or monofilament lines for all-around use. Make sure to use the right lures for the target fish.
Properly add accessories
Think of a suitable landing net, helpful tools (e.g. knife, fish persuader, hook remover,...), clear bait boxes and a functional tackle box to be optimally prepared.
