The spoon can be retrieved both fast and slow, exhibiting different actions in each case.
It is particularly effective in situations where fish react sensitively to larger lure silhouettes after stocking, or when you want to reduce the lure's silhouette but still generate strong vibration ("oscillation") in the water.
The retrieve behavior can be adjusted depending on the SNAP used:
A large, rounded snap makes the swimming action more active, allowing you to retrieve it more slowly.
A small, elongated snap increases the beat (more vibration), which is particularly advantageous for cautious trout.
