The Decoy AH-12 Jiggy Barbless is an ultra-sharp Japanese hook. Barbless means without a barb. Due to this characteristic, it is perfectly suited for fishing with softbaits. Furthermore, the hook has a large gap and a slightly longer shank, making it ideal for fishing with small softbaits. The hook can be weighted with tungsten or fished solo. Despite its rather thin wire gauge, it is very durable.
The following sizes are used here: #8 = 50mm softbaits, #6 = 60-65mm softbaits, and #4 = 70-80mm softbaits

Perfectly identifying the target fish
Consider what types of fish you want to catch (e.g., trout, bass, pike-perch, sea trout, ...).
Choosing a Fishing Rod and Reel
Choose length and strength appropriate to the target fish and fishing method (e.g. UL rod for spoons (active fishing), bottom rod for stationary fishing (passive fishing)).
Adjust Fishing Line and Lure
Use fine braided lines for UL applications or monofilament lines for all-around use. Make sure to use the right lures for the target fish.
Properly add accessories
Think of a suitable landing net, helpful tools (e.g. knife, fish persuader, hook remover,...), clear bait boxes and a functional tackle box to be optimally prepared.
